[OkStudentPrep] Wzhitawen College and Career Fair

The Citizen Potawatomi Nation would like to invite you to our annual Wzhitawen College and Career Fair on Wednesday, September 6th from 9:30 to 12:30 at Firelake Arena<http://www.firelakearena.com>. (You may notice we have changed from Thursday to Wednesday and have moved our start time back an hour. Hopefully these changes will enable more schools to participate. Our post event surveys indicate that a shortage of bus drivers hinders the ability for some schools to attend.)

Registration for students will open Wednesday, August 16th.

Students will register here https://gotocollegefairs.swoogo.com/potawatomi23/ or they may scan the QR code on the attached flyer.

Sidebar notes:
Middle school students may have to lie and say they are in high school because I don’t think registration has a middle school option. Middle school students are welcome though!
Please make sure Native American students indicate so on the registration and select the tribe they are enrolled in.
Counselors, if you don’t have a GoToCollegeFairs account, you may want to create one. This way you can view student registration.

Any student may attend, but there will be a focus on Native American students with culturally-relevant activities planned.
