<P>Each August, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education’s communication
department sends preparing for college materials to students in the eighth-12th
grades. <BR><BR>These materials are addressed to “Head Counselor” of each
school and contain one preparing for college brochure for each student and at
least one copy of the Counselors’ Resource Book for schools with 12th-graders
(according to the school population figures provided by the Oklahoma State
Department of Education). </P>
