<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The Academic Scholars Program, established by the state Legislature and governor in 1988 and operated by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, provides scholarships to academically
 outstanding students who attend an Oklahoma college or university. The 2021-2022 Academic Scholars application for automatic qualifiers (students qualifying from options 1 and 2 on the list below) is attached. The application is also available online at

<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;letter-spacing:-.1pt"> <b>          1.  ACT/SAT Scores</b></span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;margin-left:.5in;text-align:justify">
<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;letter-spacing:-.1pt"> Students may qualify by scoring at or above the 99.5 percentile on the ACT or SAT.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;margin-left:1.0in;text-align:justify">
<b><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">ACT:</span></b><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> 
<span style="color:black">For fall 2021, the required ACT score is a total sum score of the ACT subject areas of 138</span>.<span style="color:black">
</span> [Note: </span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The required ACT sum score increased from Fall 2020 due to new student “superscores” now being calculated and reported by ACT which may be used as an accepted score calculation by the State
 Regents for the Academic Scholars Program.]</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<b><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">SAT:</span></b><span lang="EN" style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> 
<span style="color:black">For fall 2021, the required SAT score is a total sum score of the critical reading and math subject areas of 1540.</span></span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;text-align:justify">
<b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;letter-spacing:-.1pt">            2. Nationally Recognized Awards</span></b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;margin-left:.5in;text-align:justify">
<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;letter-spacing:-.1pt">Students may also qualify by achieving one of the following designations: National Merit Scholar, National Merit Finalist, or United States Presidential Scholar.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
