That's right--students are eligible to apply for this 2018 funding! The application process begins with one-page pre-proposals. Multiple pre-proposals representing distinct research projects from the same researcher are welcome. Deadline: Pre-proposals must be submitted to water at okstate.edu before noon on July 17, 2017. Funding: Funding is contingent upon USGS funds being provided. Faculty researchers may receive up to $25,000; student researchers may receive up to $5,000. Applicants must provide a 2:1 match in non-federal funds. All indirect costs (F&A) must be waived, but can be counted as match. Timing: Grants will be awarded for one-year projects that start March 1, 2018 and end February 28, 2019. The RFP and guidelines for preparing a pre-proposal are at http://water.okstate.edu/researchers/funding/104b-state.
