<p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">It is my distinct pleasure to announce the appointment of
<strong><span style="font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">Dr. Greg Wilson</span></strong>
<strong><span style="font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">as assistant vice president of the Office of Research and Grants</span></strong>, Academic Affairs, effective July 1. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">Dr. Wilson came to UCO in 2001 as a faculty member in Biology. His teaching area is
<strong><span style="font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">human and comparative anatomy</span></strong> and his research interests include
<strong><span style="font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">molecular techniques to infer the population genetic structure of a variety of vertebrates</span></strong>. He has mentored both undergraduate and graduate research students, and he promotes, encourages,
supports and participates in research, creative and scholarly activities at UCO.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">Dr. Wilson earned a
<strong><span style="font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"">B.A. in biology from Central University of Iowa, an M.S. in biology from Fort Hays State University and a Ph.D. in zoology from the Oklahoma State University.</span></strong><o:p></o:p></span></p>
