<p class="MsoPlainText">The Washington University Summer Engineering Fellowship program is designed to encourage exceptional students from diverse backgrounds to conduct engineering research. Fellows will enjoy a rewarding summer research experience and engage
in an independent research project under the guidance of a Wash U faculty member.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">This year’s 10-week program will convene May 26. Projects will be in the general areas of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, computer science and materials science.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Transportation and housing costs are included, and fellows will also receive a $4,000 stipend.<o:p></o:p></p>
