<p class="MsoNormal">It is my pleasure to introduce to you OSRHE’s new Coordinator for Grant Writing and External Funding Assistance, Christine Fisher. Christine has a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, a minor in Latin American Studies, and a Master’s degree in
Human Relations. She comes to us from UCO, where she served as Assistant Director of Academic Advisement Operations. She also has served as Director of Operations for Creative Oklahoma.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In the coming weeks, Christine will be asking each higher education institution Director of Sponsored Programs or other title who is in charge of grants to set up a 20-30 minute ZOOM meeting with her so she can begin to get to know you

cfisher@osrhe.edu</a> or by phone at 405-225-9265 with greetings and your preference for a meeting. We are not traveling in person right now.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I cannot remember when the Council on Grantsmanship meeting is set for the Fall, IF it is set up. So, please, someone respond with what you know about that meeting. Christine will attend that meeting and continue to get to know you and
set plans for collaborations on topics if you have any requests of her. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I am REALLY going to step out of the picture soon, even though I said that 5 years ago! I have loved working with every one of you. We have fond memories of great times. I know Christine and you will build future memories of great times,
also. We do a very important thing in improving higher education for our Oklahoma students. I have always said you grant assistance people are the unsung heroes of higher education because of the role you play in obtaining grant dollars for creative and innovative
research projects and academic programs. <u>Love to all of you.</u> (I might attend the Fall 2021 CGR meeting, depending on when it is scheduled).
