beginning an Oklahoma American Indian Studies Association (or whatever we decide
to call it) for various purposes including lobbying and exchange of
ideas. Those attending the meeting at OU had decided to have an
organizational meeting as soon as possible here at USAO. We had asked the
former chair, Jerry Bread, to set a date for that meeting --- but Jerry had not
done so yet. </span></font></p>

font-family:Arial'> </span></font></p>
