By providing a forum for an established network of campus wellness coordinators and others who have an interest in health promotion at Oklahoma campuses, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education have recognized that, while each campus has individual needs, the promotion of healthy living practices for our campus employees and students is an important mission. The CWC-List was created in August 2009 in recognition of the enormous need for distribution of current and useful information about wellness issues for all higher education and post secondary campuses in our state. It was also created to provide a venue in which campus wellness coordinators and planners can interact and discuss issues. Employees at any public or private education campus in Oklahoma may be a member. The list moderator will regularly distribute news, training information to members. In addition, members may post questions or ideas to this moderated list. Requests for membership and messages will be approved by the moderator. All members will have access to the archives through their membership password. This list was created to supplement the current information sharing networks on various Oklahoma campuses such as the RTC-List, the Oklahoma Campus Law Enforcement Association, the HEP-List, or the DRU-List. Invitations will be sent out to a variety of individuals who have participated in the campus wellness meetings and the RTC-List. Using CWC-list
To post a message to all the list members, send email to cwc-list@lists.onenet.net. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to CWC-list
Subscribe to CWC-list by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
