Hello All,

As I am sure you already know, the elimination of the Eisehnower program is
having a profound impact on many teachers' access to professional
development funding.  There are resources available to mathematics and
science teachers in the new "No Child Left Behind Act" (NCLB), but because
they are not dedicated to "math and science," many educators are unaware of
their availability or how to go about acessing them.

Jodi Peterson and I have made some presentations designed to increase
mathematics and science teachers' understanding of key aspects of NCLB and
the professional development resources it can provide.  I am attaching three
files that we have used in these presentations and that you may find of
value in your communications with math teachers in your state.  Feel free to
use any or all of the material as you see fit.
