Communication Liaison:

This Budget Quick Tip is for all your Budget Users.

Checking in Budget Centers

When you have finished working with a Budget Center, make sure that you
check in the Budget Center. We are finding at the end of each day that
there are a lot of Budget Centers still checked out. This will cause
problems in the system if there are too many and you may not be able to
access your Budget when you go in next time.


On-line Budget Analysis Reports

After you have finished looking at an On-line Analysis Report, please use
the Close link at the top of the report page to exit the report. When you
open an On-line Analysis report it does a check out of that Budget Center
and using the Close link will release that checkout.


Updated Budget Documentation

In the Budgets system, under Budgeting Home >>  Budget Preparation >>
Prepare Budgets, there is a link for Guidelines and Documentation. Click on
the link and you will get a list of documents that will help you enter your
budgets. This information has been recently updated and will continue to be
updated over the next few weeks so check regularly for new documents. These
documents will also be made available on the CORE web page.
