Subject:           American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)

 

 

Attached is a letter from Steve Burrage, Oklahoma State Auditor and
Inspector requiring higher education's assistance in complying with the
transparency and accountability provisions of the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  

 

Governor Henry has designated the State Auditor "to coordinate and
monitor all aspects of ARRA related to the state budget and finances".
The Auditor's letter details a website that has been established to
track all ARRA grant applications, receipts and expenditures by Oklahoma
Institutions of Higher Education.  

 

The web link is: http://www.okhighered.org/recovery   

 

The site will be maintained by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher
Education and provides an easy, one-stop place to register information
about ARRA grant applications and awards.  The information required is
basic (e.g. contact name, name of grant, application or award amount
etc.)  Information can be entered manually or through ftp uploads.

 

Please familiarize yourself and the appropriate staff in your office and
then provide the required information.
