Please see the request below for additional information needed for a fleet management report as a result of the passage of HB 2647.  This reporting format will replace what OSRHE has collected in the spring timeframe that has been reported in the past through the budget process.  Their template requires additional information than we've collected, thus you are being asked to submit directly to Ms. Zuniga's office now and going forward using OMES requested format.  Please direct any questions to Ms. Zuniga.

To COBO - Below in this email stream is a communication from Terry Zuniga from OMES.  Terry is requesting that each agency and higher education institution fill out their fleet inventory information for an annual report as required by Statute (HB 2647).  This report is required by all agencies, including higher education, regardless of any fleet management exemptions.  The information is needed as quickly as possible so that the report can be completed and submitted to the Governor's office.  Please contact Terry if you have any questions. Apparently, Terry Zuniga had Debra Mann's name as the Fleet Manager for the State Regents which is incorrect.  I am the designated Fleet Manager.  This request was sent to her old dmann at ogslp.org<mailto:dmann at ogslp.org> e-mail address on December 7, 2012.  Today, Terry called Debra (fortunately the call rolled to me) to check on the status of the report.

Terry's understanding is that all the Oklahoma higher education institutions do an annual fleet report and submit it to the State Regents.  If this is not correct, Terry needs to know.  This issue has come about in the past and I believe was dealt with by Amanda.

Terry is wanting our fleet inventory information and the institutions fleet inventory information combined into this one report.  I only have records for the State Regents vehicles and can easily complete this report for those.

Please let me know how to proceed.  Thank you!

State Fleet Managers,

In order to provide comprehensive reporting to the Governor's office, it is necessary to incorporate all state owned vehicle inventory into our M5 Fleet Focus Fleet Management software program.

HB2647 signed by the Governor in the last Legislative session provides a requirement to report inventory to Fleet Management regardless of any other exemptions.

The attached file is a template that once completed can be automatically uploaded into M5.  You may cut and paste to some cells.  However, there are some cells where data entry is limited by drop down data fields.
