Vice President for Finance and Campus Services - Full-time position.
12-month, full-time position with excellent benefits.  Position serves as the fiscal affairs officer of the College and is responsible for planning, managing, and directing the finance and operations functions of the College, including Business Office (budget, accounting, bursar, cashier, accounts payable, purchasing, P-Card, travel), Auxiliary Services (events, food services, vending, printshop,)  and Agriculture operations.  Responsibilities include:  advising and informing the President and other senior personnel regularly about the status of the College's budget and regulations governing the allocation and expenditure of funds, making budget revisions as needed or directed; work with the President and other senior administrators to prepare annual budgets for all funds; ensure appropriate accounting systems are established and maintained to provide the desired level of internal control and review of financial data and reports for adherence and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP, GASB, OMB Circulars and other federal, state, and local requirements), as well as all State purchasing guidelines, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cashiering functions are followed effectively and efficiently within the regulations and policies of the State and the College; prepare monthly financial reports, including departmental and institutional fund reports, or various other financial reports and distribute to the President and appropriate others as needed; provide ongoing management of contractual agreements entered into for legal services, bookstore, vending, and other services as contracted; evaluate contractual, non-instructional services on a regular basis to ensure the services and financial needs of the College are being met; and additional duties shall include other appropriate activities as assigned by the President.  Qualifications include:  a bachelor's degree with a major in accounting, business administration, or a related discipline; at least five years of experience in accounting, financial administration, or business management; evidence of strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate, supervise staff, and lead employees; personal integrity, honesty, and the ability to deal effectively with confidential information; and a demonstrated understanding of the mission, goals, and purpose of the community colleges in Oklahoma.  Preferred qualifications include:  A Master's degree in Accounting, business administration, or a related discipline; POISE software experience; at least five years' experience in higher education, preferably in a community college; at least five years senior-level experience in supervision and management.
