Subject: Governor's Executive Budget for FY23

Good afternoon!

As you know, Governor Stitt delivered his State of the State Address this afternoon. For FY23, Governor Stitt has recommended a flat budget ($812,819,822) for our state system of higher education. Governor Stitt also recommended flat budgets for common education and CareerTech for FY23.

I have attached a transcript of the Governor's remarks from his State of the State Address as well as the Executive Summary from the FY23 Executive Budget for your review. A full copy of the FY23 Executive Budget can be accessed online at https://oklahoma.gov/content/dam/ok/en/omes/documents/bud23.pdf.

  *   A summary of FY23 budget recommendations for all agencies is listed on pages 12-13 of the Executive Budget.
  *   Specific information regarding the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education is listed on pages 85-95 of the Executive Budget.
