RE:  Deferred Maintenance Priorities

The FY-25 Budget Needs Request included funding to address capital projects, focusing on deferred maintenance.  As we begin conversations with legislative leaders on the funding proposal, we are now to a point where we need each institution's highest priorities of deferred maintenance projects.  The listing should reflect the projects deemed critical and urgent.  We understand that priorities may change, but a prioritized list will convey the critical needs of our institutions to legislative and executive leaders and the Regents, as specifics of potential funding, allocation and systemwide prioritization mechanisms are determined.
Please complete the attached template which catalogs a listing of your ten (10) highest priority deferred maintenance projects. Your list may include projects for multiple campuses under your jurisdiction but should be listed in priority order with one as the highest priority up to ten projects in total.
Please include the following elements in your responses so that our office can compile a comprehensive listing for the state system:  a) project name/description; (b) campus location (b) current cost estimates; (c) anticipated duration of time-to-completion of the project; and (d) any special characteristics (if applicable.)
You will find the attached worksheet that can be used to compile and submit your institution's responses. You are asked to submit your listing by Friday, December 15, 2023.
