[Cobo] No Meeting This Thursday: Council of Business Officers (COBO)

Business Officers,
I am writing to confirm that we will not be meeting this Thursday, March 12. As I have gathered agenda items, I’ve determined that we simply do not have a robust enough agenda to warrant taking up your valuable time with a formal meeting. Further, a scheduled speaker/presenter has signaled a last-minute conflict.
Instead of meeting, you can expect an email from me later this week containing some important updates. I will forward the data and data definitions from HCM Strategies to follow up on our previous discussions regarding their work on the performance funding formula. I will also include a written legislative update to ensure you are kept abreast of current state activities relevant to higher education funding.
Looking ahead, I am excited to see many of you at the upcoming OACUBO meeting in Stillwater. It will be a great opportunity to connect in person.
In addition, I will be reaching reach out to arrange focused meetings centered on collaborative purchasing opportunities. There continues to be strong evidence that this could likely be an attractive source of significant institution-level and system-level savings.
