This is a draft of the minutes from our last meeting.  My apologies to Paul whose last name I do not remember.  I believe at the meeting this afternoon we'll take corrections from the group.

Tuesday, April 24, 2012
1:00 p.m.

Attendees: Adam Brennan, Sarah Burkhead, Kristen Burkholder, Beth Jones, Mike Meisenheimer, Jessica Moad, Paul ?, Lee Anne Paris, Claire Powers, Tammy Thomason, and Susan Woitte.

Workshop Date
Several dates for the COIL workshop were offered on a Doodle poll before the meeting.  Friday, July 20th was the best according to the poll.  Everyone agreed to set the workshop on that date.

Workshop Topic/Theme
A Google document was created before the meeting for workshop topic/theme ideas to discuss.  Assessment and embedded librarianship were the most popular.  Other recent workshops have been done on assessment so embedded library and instruction was agreed upon as the topic/theme.

Workshop Location
The location of NSU Broken Arrow was tentatively agreed upon pending more information about parking, campus being closed and food.

Workshop Format
It was agreed there would be a general plan for a speaker 9-10am, break-out sessions 10-11am, lunch, and a set of afternoon break-out sessions.

Future Plans

*         Promotion of the workshop for presenters and attendees

*         Volunteers to complete preparation duties

*         Next meeting to be online - Doodle poll to pick date and time in next two weeks
