Hello all,

What a terrific year it's been to serve as your 2016 COIL Chair! Over the past 12 months I've been able to travel throughout our great state, meeting so many innovative, smart, and caring librarians. Thank you for your support of COIL and allowing me to serve and learn alongside you all.

My heartfelt thanks to the hardworking ladies who comprised our 2016 COIL officers and were invaluable to me time and time again:

Cinthya Ippoliti is the Associate Dean for Research and Learning Services at Oklahoma State University. Cinthya was previously the Head of Teaching and Learning Services at the University of Maryland. Her career in public services in both small and large institutions has spanned over a decade and includes experience with instructional best practices and pedagogy for first year programs, assessment, instructional technology and recently, the services, spaces and programming for the Terrapin Learning Commons at the University of Maryland. Cinthya has presented both in person and virtually at conferences such as Association of College and Research Libraries and Library Orientation Exchange on topics such as discovery-based learning, outreach, technology partnerships and ebook usability. Her online presentations include a webinar on creating an online information literacy tutorial offered as part of the Association of College and Research Libraries E-Learning Series.

Matt Upson is the Director of Undergraduate Instruction and Outreach Services at Oklahoma State University’s Edmon Low Library. He enjoys finding opportunities for innovative instruction and interaction with students, and has recently co-authored a comic book guide to basic library research skills and information literacy titled Information Now. Matt earned an MLS from Emporia State University and a BS degree in Secondary Education from Oklahoma State University, where he met his wife Irene. They have two children under four who both enjoy joyfully screaming about nothing in particular.

Holly Luetkenhaus is the First Year Experience Librarian at Oklahoma State University. She moved to Oklahoma in June 2016; previously, she was the Instruction Librarian at Washington State University. She has been a member of LIRT Web Advisory Committee since 2014, where she helped coordinate the discussion meeting for ALA Midwinter in 2016.

Webmaster - Tamara Kharabora

Tamara Kharabora, received her bachelor of English degree from NSU in 2011, and her Masters of Library and Information Studies degree in 2013 from the University of Oklahoma. Currently works at NSU-BA as the Information Services Librarian.
