Team,
Do you have a project, a "lesson learned," or a new strategy that could help our peers across the state?
The OSRHE Council on IT (CoIT) has extended the proposal deadline to March 2, 2026, for the upcoming Oklahoma Higher Education IT Summit. This is a premier opportunity to showcase the hard work our department is doing and to connect with IT professionals from across Oklahoma.
Summit Theme: Navigating the Next Horizon
While last year was about "whatโs coming," this year is about action and integration. We are looking for stories of how you "got it done"โthe practical implementations, the security hurdles you cleared, and the value you delivered to our campus.
Presentation Tracks
We are seeking proposals for the following four areas:
*
Track 1: The Resilient Institution (Cloud strategy, Wi-Fi 6E, Zero Trust, Incident Response)
*
Track 2: The Intelligent Institution (AI/BI integration, ERP modernization, Data Governance)
*
Track 3: The Human-Centered Experience (Digital accessibility, Classroom tech, VR/AR, Student journeys)
*
Track 4: The Value-Driven IT Organization (Leadership, IT finance, Hybrid team management, ITSM)

I would love to see our institution well-represented in the program this year. If you have an idea for a session but aren't sure which track it fits into, please feel free to reach out to me directly to discuss it.
Thank you for all you do to keep our institution moving forward.
Best regards,
