I personally think that a three-year cycle makes more sense. However, we can’t do that. Because we were already on a two-year cycle with COPLAC, our trustees now require that we (and all institutions in our system) report NSSE results every two years. We would do the CIRP survey of entering freshmen in fall semester of the same year we do NSSE in the spring.
