DETAILS:
Dear HEPiX Community,
We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the HEPiX Fall 2024 workshop, to be held at the University of Oklahoma, USA, from November 4th to 8th.
The workshop will take place at the Thurman J. White Forum Building on the university campus in Norman, Oklahoma.
Please register and begin making your plans to attend!
HEPiX workshops have been held regularly since 1991 to bring together worldwide Information technology staff, physicists and managers from High Energy Physics, Nuclear Physics and other science laboratories, institutes and universities such as BNL, CERN, DESY, FNAL, IN2P3, INFN, JLAB, KEK, NIKHEF, PIC, RAL, SLAC, TRIUMF and many more.
The main purpose of the HEPiX semi-annual workshops is to foster a learning and sharing experience for physicists and IT specialists in scientific high-performance and data-intensive computing disciplines.
We are looking forward to another productive and informative meeting in Oklahoma, and encourage previous and new participants to submit abstracts and contribute to the program.
Aside from the usual tracks, we are planning a dedicated topical session on addressing Sustainability and Climate Change in the Data Center, for which we especially encourage your contributions.
More details about the program will follow.
Registration, abstract submission and information about workshop logistics are now available at
https://indico.cern.ch/e/hepix-fall-2024
Participants registering before Mon October 14 will profit from an early-bird rate of 300 USD.
