-Shawnee High School is planning to have the ACT on April 3. Teachers and counselors were allowed to volunteer to administer the test. We are not required to come and they had plans to use administrators but enough teachers have volunteered. We will not be compensated. We are providing transportation and catered lunch for our students in hopes that most of
them will show up.

-We will be giving the test no matter what. We have asked teachers to volunteer and had a very good response. We visited with our students yesterday and stressed the importance of having to get the test taken.
Claudia Brownfield
Counselor/Test Administrator
-Navajo is still giving their ACT we have some teachers who are willing to still assist.
-Our Administrators are administering the test. I have everything ready for them, but they will be taking care of everything the day of the test.
-We are still administering the ACT on the third. The administration will be here including myself on those days. Two of our high school teachers have volunteered to come in to help with administering that test with no compensation. We did not ask for volunteers and we’re going to administer the tests ourselves but these two teachers stepped up and asked if they could assist us.
-We are offering the ACT if we still Walk-Out but our 12 month contract administration will be the ones administering the test.
Thank you,
Pearl Tuell
Junior Counselor
Coweta High School
-As the counselor and DTC I will be here on April 3rd giving The ACT and we are planning a walkout.
-We told our juniors to go ahead and come to school that day regardless of the walkout situation. Our administrators are working during the walkout and are giving the ACT.
-We will test IF we are in session otherwise we will test on April 24th.
-We have moved snow days to April 2nd and 3rd (board approved). We are still administering the ACT on April 3rd. School is compensating teachers for administering test.
David Day
Pryor High School
-We are administering it with volunteer teachers--no payment.
-We are still giving the ACT on April 3. I had a few teachers volunteer to help and our principals are helping as well. As far as I know, no one will be compensated since they volunteered.

Subject: [Counselors] Junior ACT & Walk Out
I would like to know from fellow counselors/test administrators if any of the schools that plan to walk out are going to still administer the ACT on April 3rd?? If so, are you asking for teacher volunteers? Is the school compensating teachers??
Thank you!
