[D2l-alert] D2L Upgrade to 10.2 on TEST

Upgrading TEST anytime is fine for us. Would it be possible to schedule the LIVE upgrade 12/23, 12/26, 12/27, 12/30, or 12/31? I realize this is when most campuses are closed for the break but our classes start on Wednesday, January 8th and doing it on Thursday or Friday prior to this would not give our folks much time to familiarize themselves with the new interface. If this is not possible, we could let our instructors access the TEST environment to start looking at it.
Thanks,
- Karen

Great! Be sure to add the new person to your support list so he/she is copied on these messages, and let us know when you have chosen someone. Perhaps the group could meet prior to heading to Boston and discuss D2L status. I will schedule an upgrade to TEST as soon as possible. May I also schedule a tentative upgrade to PROD on January 2nd or 3rd? That will give us time to train on our TEST site before we go live with the new version.
Frank, could we get a refresh of TEST before the upgrade? I assume we would have a few weeks but will know when D2L returns a date. Also, we need to make sure our infrastructure meets specs.
Thanks everyone! Have a great day!
Chris

I think OCU is fine with upgrading test.
Just FYI - we are doing final interviews next week to refill Beth Richard's position. (Yea!) Just wanted you to know that there will soon be a new name/person in the group. If all goes well, we will be sending the new person to Fusion so please feel free to introduce yourselves.

Thanks. I suppose we need to make sure our infrastructure is equipped to handle it on both test and prod. The feature guides are due out soon. Those are also good discussion topics at FUSION. Glad you are going!

Chris,
I am ok with upgrading Test to 10.2. I watched the webinar and looks like better integration of all the components.

Does anyone have an objection to me requesting an upgrade on TEST to 10.2 as soon as it is available? Is anyone interested in scheduling a tentative upgrade to 10.2 in December/January timeframe? I'm still not convinced about the user-interface as a whole and its stability, but what they showed in the webinar looks promising.
