Hi folks,
Much sympathy goes out to Mimi Kelley and family today as they deal with
the untimely loss of her husband, Steve. Please keep them in your prayers.
On a happier note, our Eastern family has several birthdays at this time
of year. Mary Edith Butler celebrates hers today, Rudy O'Donley
celebrates his tomorrow, and Irene Coy, our Cafeteria cashier,
celebrates hers Sunday. Be sure and wish these folks a very happy
birthday.
Don't forget about the Staff Fishing Tournament this Saturday at Lake
Wayne Wallace in Robber's Cave State Park. All the fish caught that day
will be donated to the fish fry coming up in October at the Staff
Picnic. Come out and test your skill. Prizes will be awarded for most
fish caught and biggest fish caught. State law requires that you have a
valid fishing license in your possession when fishing, and your Staff
Dues must be paid prior to participation.
Our menu for today includes:
Turkey
Stuffing
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Sweet potatoes
Sweet peas
Vegetable blend
Rolls
Our fast food is Meatballs Subs and for dessert have a piece of Pumpkin Pie.
For dinner this evening we'll be serving:
Chicken patty
French fries
Saturday brunch will include:
Biscuits and gravy
Eggs
Bacon
Steak sandwich
French fries
Vegetable blend
Dessert
And Monday breakfast will include:
Ham and cheese omelet
Hash browns
Biscuits and gravy
Cream of wheat
