Subject:      Catering Supply Room/Linen Fees and Rental Rates

At the request of the VP of Business Affairs the Cafeteria will be 
implementing Catering Supply Room/Linen Fees and Rental Rates on January 
2, 2008.  The fees and rental rates are being implemented based on the 
following:  replacement cost of borrowed items that have never been 
returned to the supply room; cost of the linen service; cafeteria 
staff's time and effort.

Beginning January 2, 2008 item(s) will be checked out, not borrowed.   
When an item is checked out from the Catering Supply Room or Linen 
Supply, you will be required to sign for the item and provide a 
departmental budget number.  If the item is not returned within 5 
working days, your departmental budget will be charged a replacement fee.

EOSC employees shall not check out supplies or linens for personal use.  
Given that the college is publicly funded for educational purposes, 
personal use of property, materials and equipment is prohibited.

A rental fee will be charged for use of the East Cafeteria and 
President's Dining Room for any personal or business related parties or 
events.  This does not include college functions, or non-profit 
organizations such as Lion's Club or Kiwanis.
