[Eoscstudents] Menu for TGI Friday Sept. 19

Hi folks,

We've got a busy day ahead of us here in the Cafeteria.  Along with our 
regular daily duties, we have the monthly Board of Regents luncheon 
today, and the big Choctaw Nation GED Graduation dinner this evening, 
and that won't start until 8:00 p.m.!  It wouldn't be so bad but we've 
got a couple of guys out with medical problems so we're stretched a 
little thin!  We may have to shanghai some people just to help us get 
through the day!

My daughter and I went to the Talihina Homecoming parade yesterday 
evening and then on to the pep rally afterward, and I happened to wear 
my favorite Eastern T-shirt, the one from Orientation 2006, that says, 
"It's not who you are...It's who you will become", and shows the little 
boy turning out to be Superman.  I actually had a lady I didn't even 
know who read it comment on what a wonderful sentiment that is.  I don't 
know who thinks these up, but that inspirational quote from Orientation 
2 years ago is still inspiring people today. 

Happy Birthday wishes go out today to that crazy Linda Morgan.  She's 
got to be one of the most fun gals on campus, always laughing and 
smiling, but she can definitely get the job done, too.   And this Sunday 
Jane Harding from our Idabel campus will share a birthday with one of 
our old favorites, Mary Edith Butler.  I hope they all have great fun.

Our menu for today includes:
             Choice of fish sticks or shrimp poppers
             Crispy cube potatoes
             Cabbage
             Spinach
             Corn
             Macaroni and cheese
             Navy beans
             Mexican cornbread

And for dessert have some luscious Mandarin Orange Cake.

P. S.  The WWASP (We Want A Skate Park) kids have a rummage sale 
scheduled for tomorrow in downtown Talihina if you're over there and 
want to look for bargains, or just want to make a donation.   Tickets 
will also be available for the upcoming Oversoul/Falling Crossways concert.
