Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone,

Happy birthday wishes go out today to the Nursing Department's Anne 
Hester, (hard working, dedicated Staff Council Secretary), and to 
instructor Neil Enis, father of twin girls, (which is hard enough work 
for anybody). 

Don't forget to check your bookshelves for children's books you don't 
need anymore suitable for 6th grade and under, to donate to the PTK 
Project Graduation Book Drive going on the rest of this week.  It's a 
great way to clear out some space in your house and share the joy of 
books with someone else.  (Think of it as book recycling.  It's a very 
green thing to do.)

 Don't forget to bring your checkbook or maybe your mad money tomorrow 
for the big Staff Council Jewelry Sale in the East Cafeteria.  The 
proceeds of this sale will be donated to the Relay for Life fight 
against cancer, so dig deep and buy some bling for yourself or maybe for 
your Mom.  Mother's Day is this Sunday, you know.  And I'll bet there 
are plenty of about-to-be-graduates out there who would appreciate 
something shiny to show off to mark their special achievements.

Our menu for today includes:
             Hard shell tacos
             Refried beans
             Mexican rice
             Pizza
             Nachos
             Chicken fried steak
             Baby redskinned mashed potatoes
             Gravy
             Peas
             Corn
             Broccoli

And for dessert have some luscious Strawberry Poke Cake.
