Hi folks,

I'm back in today (mostly to get out payroll and see who the Biggest 
Loser is) after having a very nice day at home yesterday.  (I got a lot 
done, maybe not by anyone else's standards, but a lot for me anyway.)  I 
will be off again tomorrow and back in at least Thurs. afternoon for a 
class, then off again Friday.  Talk about a split up week!  I hope I can 
keep track of whether I'm coming or going.

I'm proud to announce that Susie Smith of the Cafeteria won the Biggest 
Loser contest, and I can tell you that she worked hard for this.  (She 
ate less, walked laps and even ate nasty grapefruit!  Ugh!)   Her 
motivation to begin with, was the fact that her husband said that if 
she'd lose weight, he'd quit smoking.  He'd better get ready to be a 
quitter because she's definitely doing her part!  Of course then, the 
Biggest Loser contest just helped her with her goal, and gave her some 
added incentive to boot.   
     
Happy Belated Birthday wishes go out to Mr. Steve Akins who had a 
birthday on Saturday May 16.  I had forgotten that he and my daughter 
share a birthday, along with Susie Smith's daughter, Sidney.  (Of 
course, he had it first.) 

Don't forget to go check out the Bookstore's new line of Burt's Bees 
products, including lip gloss, and hair and body wash products, made 
with no chemicals and no  gross animal testing.  And while you're in 
there pick out a Bargain Book to pass some summer hours with.  Don't you 
just love a good book?

Our menu for today includes:
                Meatloaf
                Mashed potatoes and gravy
                Mixed vegetables
                Hot rolls
                Salad bar

And for dessert have a piece of Bundt Cake.
