[Eoscstudents] Menu for Wed. Feb. 23 Cyber Cafe Closed Today

Hi folks,

Looks like it's shaping up to be a very nice day, with only a slight 
chance of rain today.  If you have any outdoor activities you want to 
participate in, you'd better get them out of the way today, though, as 
there's a 70% chance of rain tomorrow.

Due to absences in our Cafeteria staff, we'll be unable to open the 
Cyber Cafe today.  Sorry for any disappointed cravings this may result 
in.   We'll be back in full operation as soon as we get everyone well 
and back at work.  We will have BBQ on a bun and French Fries in the 
Cafeteria in order to offer more than one main food choice.

I just heard on Mountaineer Radio that tonight is our Mountaineers' and 
Lady Mountaineers' last home games.  Tell all the basketball fans you 
know and come help pack the house for them at 6:00 and 8:00 this 
evening.  It'll be Eastern vs. Western, and we need a good crowd to 
cheer on our home team. 

And Thurs. at 1:30 and 7:30, and Fri. at 7:30, our Theatre Dept. will 
present "Eastern on the Edge", a variety of performances by Melissa 
Lee's theatre students that should be very interesting and 
entertaining.  She does caution though, that some of the content is not 
appropriate for children, so please find a sitter for the evening, as it 
should be adults only in the theatre for this show.

Another event well worth mentioning that will be happening on campus 
this coming Monday, Feb. 28, will be Dr. Najwa Raouda discussing recent 
events in the Middle East, and what it is like to be a Muslim woman in 
America, and reading from her book The Feminine Voice of Islam: Muslim 
Women in America.   Please contact Ruth Brelsford at Ext. 762, or 
465-1762 from off campus,  for more information on this event.

Our menu for today includes:
          Baked chicken breast
          Mashed potatoes and gravy
          Broccoli and cheese
          Corn
          Wild rice
or       BBQ on a bun
          French fries

And for dessert, have some luscious Peach Cobbler.
