[Eoscstudents] Eligible PTK List for the Spring 2011 semester

Congratulations to the students listed below who are eligible to join PTK
for the Spring 2011 semester. Letters will be mailed with the details on how
to join very soon. IF you are a sophomore graduating this spring and will be
transferring to another institution you need to stop by and see me for a
letter of recommendation if you decide to join ASAP (even before you receive
your letter).  Transfer Scholarships are available to the majority of
institutions in the State of Oklahoma and across the nation
.  You may look
at the website www.ptk.org and check out the specifics of the organization
and how it may benefit you scholarship wise.

Deadlines for Oklahoma State University were in early February. Many others
are in March.  

This is an opportunity you really should take advantage of. If your name
isn’t on the list and you meet the following criteria, please come by my
office  in M115 or e-mail me if you are interested in joining.  The criteria
is:

ü  Completed at least 12 hours of college credit

ü  for 12 – 29 hours of credit, a 3.75 GPA is required

ü  for 30 hours of credit and above, a 3.5 GPA is required

(Faculty, you are included in the e-mailing so that you may explain to a
student if they have questions about their name being on the list.. .or they
may not read their e-mail and you may suggest that they read this message)
