[Eoscstudents] recycling carnival/street dance

EASTERN IS GOING GREEN!  Wear green, bring your recyclables, and come have a
ball at the inauguration of the new recycling trailer and Earth Day Street
Dance.

 

It is all happening Wed, April 18. 6:30-8 is the time slot for the carnival
with lots of cool contests and prizes.  The Street Dance will start about 8
p.m.

 

Events include:  a Trashy Costume Contest (make your costume out of
recyclables), Recycle Relay Race (grab your friends and form a team!  How
about baseball boys vs basketball boys or softball girls vs basketball
girls? Or, forgive my gender bias, any boys vs any girls!), Castle Building
Contest, face painting, and amazing scientific demonstrations by the
Chemistry Club.

 

There will be prizes and give-aways.

 

Food available:  burgers cost 2 plastic bottles while dessert costs one
smashed can or one cardboard box.

 

This will be a lot of fun if everybody comes out, so, please, come and help
Eastern GO GREEN!
