Hi and Happy October!
 
It's October and I can feel the nip in the air already, (but that's mostly just in my office).  I have noticed some leaves changing to their fall colors already, though.  That's one of the perks of living in Eastern Oklahoma, beautiful fall foliage.
 
Be sure and plan to attend the EOSC Theatre Department's production of the romantic comedy Almost, Maine, this Friday and Saturday at 8:00, or SUNDAY at 2:00, as well as next Friday and Saturday at 8:00.  Admission is $5 for the public, and EOSC students and staff are admitted free as always.  This will be new Theatre Instructor Sarah Klocke's first production at Eastern, and will feature Bridget Blue of Wilburton, Jose Rivera of Holdenville, Hailey Dust of Stuart, and Rodney Morris of Forney, Texas.
 
Please remember that the recycling bins on campus are only for the designated recyclable material, (paper or plastic), not for general trash, especially here in the Cafeteria.  Please take your plate to the dish window.  Don't dump it in the recycling container just because it's closer to the door.  Your leftovers are not considered "recycling".  Please don't make Mrs. Brelsford have to dress up as styrofoam again to remind you.  You know she hates that stuff!
 
LUNCH Menus for the week include:
 
Monday, Oct. 1:  Susie's homemade cube steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, Italian cauliflower, corn, macaroni and cheese, hot rolls, butter crunch pudding.
 
Tuesday, Oct. 2:  Pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried squash, green beans, hot rolls, assorted pies.
 
Wednesday, Oct. 3:  Popcorn chicken, potato wedges, baked beans, corn on the cob, biscuits, strawberry poke cake.
 
Thursday, Oct. 4:  Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, black-eyed peas, fresh spinach, hot rolls, cherry cobbler.
 
Friday, Oct. 5:  Tuna croquettes or grilled chicken, steamed potatoes, broccoli and rice casserole, pinto beans, cornbread, chocolate cake.
 
DINNER Menus for the week include:
 
Monday:  Roast beef or chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, baby carrots, green beans.
 
Tuesday:  Pasta bar:  Fettuccine with Italian sausage, cheese ravioli, macaroni and cheese with little smokies, garlic bread.
 
Wednesday:  Hamburger steak or hot ham and cheese with chips, mashed potatoes and gravy, English peas, fried squash.
 
Thursday:  Chicken fried chicken or steak melts, baked potatoes, corn, baked beans.
 
Friday:  Cyber Cafe:  Cheeseburgers adn fries or corn dogs.
