Hi folks,
 
It's getting to be a busy time of the year here on campus, with all the end of the year events that will have to be squeezed into the few weeks left before graduation.
 
New Student Enrollment will be tomorrow, so get ready for the next generation of Mountaineers to invade campus!  
 
Tomorrow evening, our Aggie Club will have their annual banquet in the Ballroom.
 
Wednesday night will be Karaoke night in the Ballroom, so get ready to sing your hearts out and have a great time!  I don't know if there's a requirement that you have to sing WELL, just sing!
 
Thursday evening, Mr. Patrick Moore, our Music Director, will present a Percussion Concert in the newly renovated Johnnie Wray Theatre in Pratt Hall.  John Fryer, one of Mr. Moore's McAlester students, will be a special guest performer at this event.  Check campus monitors in the Student Center or Library Building for more information. 
 
This Friday, the EOSC Board of Regents will hold their monthly meeting, and the Nursing Program will host their annual Welcome Luncheon in the Ballroom.
 
And don't forget to be collecting up your recyclable plastic bottles and aluminum cans to bring to the 2nd Annual Earth Day Recycling Carnival and Street Dance next Monday, April 22nd, to be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the parking lot east of the Bookstore and Student Center.  There will be lots of  food, games, fun and prizes.  There will be burgers, drinks and chips, all available for the price of one recyclable can or bottle per item.  You can't beat a deal like that!  The awesome Mrs. Ruth Brelsford and her Honors Students will be hosting this event with the help of various other volunteers, as well as the Aggie Club who will be cooking the burgers.  
 
We have a Cafeteria birthday this week on Thursday, when Mildred Whisenhunt, our Food Service Manager, celebrates her big day.  I hope she has a great time even if she does have to be at work.
 
Lunch Menus for this week include:
 
Monday:  Chicken Alfredo, green beans, fried squash, bread sticks, baked potato bar, earthquake cake.
 
Tuesday:  Pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, cabbage, black eyed peas, macaroni and tomatoes, hot rolls or cornbread, blackberry cobbler.
 
Wednesday:  Smoked sausage with potatoes, peppers and onions, corn on the cob, baked beans, hot rolls, banana pudding.
 
Thursday:  Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli with cheese sauce, fried okra, biscuits, peanut butter cake.
 
Friday:  Spaghetti with meat sauce, chicken salad subs with chips, green beans, meadow blend vegetables, garlic bread, assorted cookies.
 
Dinner menus this week include:
 
Monday:  Tacos, refried beans, Mexican rice, cheesy corn, cornbread, or Cyber Café items.  Ice cream and toppings for dessert.
 
Tuesday:  Chicken and rice casserole, steamed red potatoes, green beans, fried squash, or Cyber Café menu.  Ice cream and toppings for dessert.
 
Wednesday:  Hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, black eyed peas, cabbage, or Cyber Café menu.  Ice cream and toppings for dessert.
 
Thursday:  Baked ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, corn, or Cyber Café menu.  Ice cream and toppings for dessert.
 
Friday:  Cyber Café menu.
