Hi folks,
 
I hope you all had a great weekend.  The weather was great for whatever  outdoor activity you might choose to do, and it looks like it'll be more of the same for this entire week.  
 
Today is the last day to add a class to your schedule for this semester, so if you think you need to do that, better get with your advisor and get it done today.  
 
There will be a Staff Council meeting Tuesday at 2:00 in the Library Conference Room.  Anyone interested may attend.
 
Wed. at 2:00, there will be a Building Monitors meeting in Mitchell 206.  All Building Monitors are urged to attend, or send a representative.
 
Shred It pickup is scheduled for this Thursday, so fill those bins and be ready!
 
Birthdays for this week include Softball coach Andy Mace on Sat. Aug. 24, & Groundskeeper Allen Kendrick on Sun. Aug. 25.
 
The Cafeteria will begin having a "Featured Item of the Day" for breakfast and lunch this week.  The "Featured Lunch Item" for Monday will be Hamburger Wraps.  Featured breakfast and lunch items for Tues. will be Western Omelets, and made to order Sub Sandwiches; Wed. Yogurt Bar with Fruit Toppings, and Patty Melts; Thurs. Toaster Sandwiches, and Deluxe Meat and Cheese Nachos; Fri. Chocolate Gravy and Biscuits, and Frito Chili Pie. 
 
Lunch menus for the week include:
 
Monday:  Oven fried chicken, mashed potatoes and white gravy, corn on the cob, macaroni and cheese, steamed broccoli, zucchini and tomatoes, dinner rolls, brownies.
 
Tuesday:  Beef pot pie, roasted red potatoes with garlic and herbs, baby carrots, green beans, penne pasta with browned butter, fried squash, dinner rolls, lime poke cake.
 
Wednesday:  Smoked sausage with onions and peppers, boiled potatoes with butter, fried okra, rice pilaf, mixed vegetables, BBQ beans, dinner rolls, carrot cake.
 
Thursday:  Indian tacos or nachos, red beans and cornbread, corn, cilantro lime rice, peas with white potatoes, steamed cauliflower, chocolate cake.
 
Friday:  Hamburger steak, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, macaroni and tomatoes, fresh spinach, winter blend vegetables, black eyed peas, lemon bars.
 
Dinner menus for the week include:
 
Monday:  Hard shell tacos, and burritos with chili and cheese, Spanish rice, refried beans, fried okra, mixed vegetable blend.
 
Tuesday:  Chicken and rice casserole, and hot ham and cheese sandwiches with chips, Brussels sprouts, corn, mixed vegetables with orange & yellow carrots.
 
Wednesday:  Goulash and chicken strips with French fries, mashed potatoes with white gravy, angel hair pasta with garlic parmesan, green beans, steamed yellow squash with bacon and onion, peas.
 
Thursday:  Pork fried rice, and cheeseburger wraps with waffle fries, oven baked eggrolls, cabbage, mixed vegetable blend, baby carrots, eggdrop soup.
 
Friday:  Cyber menu items.
