Hi folks,
 
The last few days just go to prove that you never know what Mother Nature will throw at you.  Everyone dreams of a white Christmas, but I don't think anyone was really looking for the ice, snow, and sleet mix we got last week and we are still waiting for it to thaw off.  I hope it didn't cause any of you any major problems.  At least having a few extra days off is usually pretty pleasant, but it has caused some changes to the Finals Week schedule.
 
Besides being Finals Week, it's also Book Buyback week in the Bookstore.  If you've got textbooks you're done with that are in good shape and are still being used for classes, take them to the Bookstore and get some Christmas cash this week!
 
The Fall Recital that was schedule for last Thursday has been reschedule for this evening at 7:00 due to the previously mentioned weather.  It will beheld in Pratt 118, and all are welcome to attend.
 
Candle lighting, which was scheduled for last Sunday evening, has been rescheduled for Wed. evening at 7:00 in Mitchell Auditorium.  
 
Lunch menus for this week include:
 
Tuesday:  Chicken Alfredo, fresh spinach, baby carrots, fried okra, corn on the cob, garlic bread, fresh apple cake.  Soup of the day:  Roasted garlic and tomato bisque.
 
Wednesday:  Hamburger steaks with onions, peppers and brown gravy, green beans, mashed red potatoes, macaroni and cheese, steamed broccoli, fried squash, dinner rolls, brownies.  Soup of the day:  Bean and bacon.
 
Thursday:  Chicken fried steak or chicken strips, mashed potatoes and white gravy, baked beans, Brussels sprouts, fried okra, corn, Texas toast, Oreo cheesecake.  Soup of the day: Cheesy Broccoli.
 
Friday:  Chili cheese dogs or grilled chicken sandwiches, French fries or chips, macaroni and cheese, green beans, fried squash, assorted cookies.
 
Dinner menus are as follows:
 
Tuesday:  Pork fried rice with eggrolls or steak melts with fries, winter blend vegetables, cabbage, fried squash, black eyed peas, ice cream with toppings.  
 
Wednesday:  Chicken tetrazzini or corn dogs with waffle fries, green beans, buttered red potatoes, Tuscan mixed vegetables, sweet potatoes with apples, ice cream with toppings.
 
Thursday:  Patty melts or cheeseburgers with fries or chips, steamed broccoli, mixed vegetables, buttered noodles, ice cream with toppings.
 
No dinner will be served Friday.  The Cafeteria will be closed until after the new year.
