Hi folks,
 
Happy Veterans Day!  For those of you who may not know, there will be a FREE LUNCH for veterans today in the EOSC Cafeteria from Noon until 1:00, followed by a special Veterans Day program, sponsored by our Honors students.  
 
Eastern birthdays this week include:  Dean of the Business Division, Kay Langham on Monday; everyone's favorite DJ, Dougo Sims on Wednesday; Financial Aid Director, Mimi Kelley on Thursday; short and sassy Cafeteria cook, Susie Smith on Saturday; and finally a two-for, Karen Darby of Student Affairs and her twin sister, Kelly Bogard of the McAlester campus on Sunday.  I hope you all have a wonderful birthday!
 
The EOSC Library will feature the second annual Reading with an International Flavor this Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the White House on campus.  Come learn about and eat food from different cultures, meet new people and learn more about your world.   
 
Eastern's Theatre Department will present Hedda Gabler this Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.  Admission to this dramatic event is $5.00 for the public, and is free to all Eastern students and employees.
 
Lunch menus for this week include:
 
Monday:  Pork cutlets, mashed potatoes and gravy, black eyed peas, turnip greens, fried squash, macaroni and tomatoes, hot rolls, fresh apple cake.  Soup of the day:  Tortilla soup.
 
Tuesday:  Meatloaf, buttered potatoes, fresh broccoli, corn, baby carrots, white rice, hot rolls, peach cobbler.  Soup of the day:  Vegetable.
 
Wednesday:  Baked tilapia, scalloped potatoes, cilantro rice, steamed cabbage, pinto beans, fried okra, cornbread, earthquake cake.  Soup of the day:  Italian sausage.
 
Thursday:  Lasagna, garden blend rice, green beans, fresh cauliflower, fresh parmesan squash, baked potato, garlic bread, lemon delight.  Soup of the day:  Broccoli and cheese.
 
Friday:  Shrimp poppers or chili dogs, oven roasted potatoes, corn on the cob, navy beans, macaroni and cheese, winter vegetable mix, hush puppies, and banana pudding.
 
Dinner menus include:
 
Monday:    Chicken-n-biscuit or grilled ham and cheese with chips, steamed potatoes, green beans, corn, fried okra, salad bar.
 
Tuesday:  Pizza pasta night-Pepperoni, sausage, supreme, cheese pizzas, rigatoni with sausage, penne with pesto sauce, rotel macaroni and cheese, assorted vegetables, salad bar.
 
Wednesday:  Baked chicken breast or cheeseburgers, tater tot casserole, California blend vegetables, fresh broccoli, corn, baby carrots, salad bar.
 
Thursday:  Tacos or crispitos, Mexican rice, refried beans, cheesy corn, assorted vegetables, salad bar.
 
Friday:  Cyber café menu.
