Hi folks,
 
I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day break.  It's always nice to have a Monday off.  (Or whatever day you can get, right?)
 
Be sure and come over for the first Library Expo in the President's Dining Room this week here in the Student Center.  The library staff is eager to show you all the wonderful resources they have available for your use, whether for study or pleasure.  There will be door prizes, so you could come away with something awesome!  
 
Happy Birthday wishes go out for Saturday to Accounting Instructor, Amanda Smith.  Please wish her a great day if you see her this week.
 
Lunch menus for the week include:
 
Tuesday:  Chicken cacciatore, scalloped potatoes, corn on the cob, steamed spinach, seasoned wild rice, green beans, dinner rolls, cookies and cream cheesecake.  Featured item:  Pulled pork sandwich.
 
Wednesday:  Pork chops, oven roasted potatoes with garlic, seasoned black eyed peas, macaroni and tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, corn, dinner rolls, white cake.  Featured item:  Burritos with chili and cheese.
 
Thursday:  Beef stroganoff, loaded baked potato salad, zucchini and tomatoes, steamed baby carrots, steamed cabbage, peas and potatoes, dinner rolls, chocolate cake.  Featured item:  Chicken melts.
 
Friday:  Baked tilapia, shrimp poppers, hushpuppies, navy beans, cornbread, steamed rice, steamed broccoli, corn on the cob, strawberry cake.  Featured item:  Steak sandwich.
 
Dinner menus include:
 
Tuesday:  Frito chili pie or pork loin, mashed potatoes with gravy, sauerkraut, broccoli, sweet potatoes with apples, fried squash.
 
Wednesday:  Chicken fried chicken sandwich with waffle fries or fajitas, refried beans, Spanish rice, cornbread, mixed vegetables.
 
Thursday:  Steak fingers or meatball subs with chips, mashed potatoes with white gravy, seasoned green beans, macaroni and cheese, turnip greens, fried squash.
 
Friday:  Cyber menu.
 
For our breakfast crowd, the Featured Items of the week will be:
 
Wednesday, homemade sausage gravy and biscuits; Thursday, breakfast toasters; Friday, homemade pancakes and bacon.
