Hi folks,

Wow, it's starting out to be a really busy day here in the EOSC Student Center! We're not having day classes on campus, but we have swarms of high school students here for scholastic contests in various subjects today, plus a group of students all the way from Denmark here for the week! Please make them all feel very welcome here and give them any assistance you can.

On Friday, we will have a special tour group of 8th & 9th grade Gear Up students from Leflore. These are potential future Mountaineers so please give this group a warm welcome and any assistance you can, also.

This Saturday, Eastern will host the annual Sapphire Ball in the Student Center. There will be lots of VIPs on campus for this special event, and everyone will be looking fantastic and ready to have a good time at the ball. The Cafeteria will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday morning to prepare for and clean up after this event. Students will receive vouchers to eat brunch and dinner at either Roy's Deli, the Choctaw Travel Plaza, or the Eaton Hole.

Sunday, April 6, both Danita Oller of OMTI and Kim Pendergraft of our EOSC Library will celebrate their birthday. Please wish both of these wonderful ladies a great day.

Lunch menus for the week include:

Tuesday: Lasagna, BBQ sandwich with chips, baked beans, fried squash, baby carrots, garlic bread, brownies.

And don't forget, Saturday the Cafeteria will be closed to prepare for the Sapphire Ball that evening. Also on Sunday morning the Cafeteria will be closed to clean up from the Sapphire Ball. Dinner will be served Sunday at the regular time (5:00 to 6:00).

Have a great week at Eastern!
