Hi folks,
 
Well, we've got one more week before Thanksgiving break, and I know everyone's ready for that!  And that pretty much means the semester is almost over!  Hard to believe it's gone by so FAST!
 
There are several events happening on campus this week, such as, Mountaineer Mania (formerly Mountaineer Monday) on Tuesday, and PBL Dress for Success in the Ballroom on Wednesday, which should be a good thing, as we're also having yearbook photos taken on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 to 3:00 in the Cafeteria.  Be sure and come get your picture taken for the Mountaineer yearbook.
 
Be sure and eat lunch with us on Wednesday, when we feature a traditional Thanksgiving menu.
 
EOSC birthdays for the next 2 weeks include:  Mon. Nov. 17, twins Karen Darby and Kelly Bogard, Librarian Maria Martinez on Sat. Nov. 22, Lea (Weaver) Dickson on Sunday Nov. 23, Dara Self Ward of Gear Up and myself on Thanksgiving Day, and Cheerleading coach Lindy Morgan on Sat. Nov. 29.  
 
Lunch menus for the week include:
 
Monday:  Swiss steak with steamed red potatoes, rice, steamed carrots, steamed spinach, fried corn nuggets, hot rolls, peanut butter brownies.  Soup of the day:  Chicken gumbo.
 
Tuesday:  Pizza and pasta, garlic bread sticks, corn on the cob, steamed broccoli, Oreo cheesecake.
 
Wednesday:  Turkey, ham, hot rolls, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravy, corn, green bean casserole, pecan cobbler, pumpkin pie, apple pie.  No soup today.
 
Thursday:  Chicken and dumplings, or chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, hot rolls, steamed carrots, fried okra, black eyed peas, Brussels sprouts, strawberry cake.
 
Friday:  Fish and shrimp, hush puppies, red beans and cornbread, steamed cabbage, macaroni and cheese, cookies.
 
Dinner menus include:
 
Monday:  Oven fried chicken or chicken fried steak, Texas toast, mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and tomatoes, fried okra, California blend vegetables.
 
Tuesday:  Breakfast for dinner, including eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, potato cubes, biscuits and gravy.
 
Wednesday:  Hamburgers and chicken strips, fries, macaroni and cheese, fried zucchini, pinto beans.
 
Thursday:  Meatball subs with chips or fries, or spaghetti with garlic bread sticks, corn, steamed spinach, fried squash.  
 
The Cafeteria will be closed Friday evening for Thanksgiving break.
