Hi folks,
 
Looks like a nice week coming up, with cooler temperatures and chances of rain by the end of the week.  Chances of rain always give our baseball and softball coaches headaches trying to figure out if they can play any scheduled games, or if they'll have to reschedule or relocate.  As of this semester, I suppose our new soccer coach will join them in this.
 
The first ESGA (Student Government) meeting for this semester will be held this evening at 7:00 in Student Center Room 224.  All campus clubs and organizations should make an effort to have a representative in attendance.
 
Be sure and wish Danny Foster of our Maintenance Department a happy birthday if you see him on campus today as he celebrates getting one year ornerier!  
 
The Latimer County Free Fair will be held in the Goddard Building (in the Agriculture Complex area across the highway from campus) this Friday and Saturday.  There will be lots of wonderful things to see that are homemade or home grown or created by area residents both young and young at heart.  And there are always farm animals on display and an interesting pet show.  (I saw my first goat wearing clothes there a couple of years back.)
 
Lunch menus for the week include:
 
Monday:  Oven baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, dinner rolls, roasted corn, California blend vegetables, black eyed peas, fried okra, and brownies.
 
Tuesday:  Swedish meatballs over egg noodles, baby carrots, Tuscan blend vegetables, dinner rolls, baked potatoes, meatloaf, steamed broccoli and cheese, Poke Cake.
 
Wednesday:  Pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, plain rice, oriental blend vegetables, asparagus, corn, egg drop soup, banana pudding.
 
Thursday:  Monterey chicken, wild rice, Monterey blend vegetables, steamed spinach, fried squash, pinto beans, dinner rolls, strawberry cake.
 
Friday:  Baked cod with lemon pepper or Cajun seasoning, fried shrimp, hush puppies, corn on the cob, red beans and cornbread, Cape Cod vegetables, white cake with cream cheese icing.
 
Dinner menus include:
 
Monday:  Stuffed shells with sauce, Italian garlic bread, or patty melt sandwiches with waffle fries, Capri blend vegetables, sautéed squash, spinach, ice cream.
 
Tuesday:  Breakfast, including eggs with ham and cheese, bacon and sausage, pancakes or waffle sticks, biscuits and gravy, cereal, ice cream with toppings.
 
Wednesday:  Pizza and pasta, personal pizzas with creamy garlic pasta, penne with smoked sausage and tomato, chicken alfredo, garlic bread, ice cream.
 
Thursday:  Pot roast with carrots and potatoes, green beans, hot rolls, macaroni and cheese, steamed broccoli, roasted corn, ice cream and toppings.
 
Friday:  Cyber choices of chicken strips or steak fingers with mashed potatoes and gravy, dinner rolls, baked beans, vegetable blend, ice cream.
