Hi folks,
 
Here we are at three weeks and counting down to Graduation 2015!  Hard to believe it's gone by so fast!
 
There are several events happening on campus this week, starting with the Administrative Professional's Luncheon today, where all the Administrative Assistants (secretaries) are served lunch by their bosses.   
 
Tuesday, there will be Faculty Training in the Ballroom in the afternoon.  Also, there will be a Staff Council meeting at 2:00 in the Library Conference Room.  Anyone interested or with something they would like to discuss is invited to attend.   And Tuesday evening, from 6:00 to 8:00, there will be a Bingo game in the Student Center.  
 
Wednesday, there will be a Building Monitor Meeting at 2:00 in Mitchell 206.  Bryan will have goodies for our emergency bags and information about this month's planned emergency drill.  Every building should send their monitor(s) or another representative.
 
On Thursday, a Focus Financial Advisor will be in the President's Dining Room from 8:30 to 3:00 to visit with employees about retirement and investments.  And from 2:00 to 4:00, there will be a come and go retirement party for Dr. Karen Harrison in the White House.  She will truly be missed here at Eastern.
 
On Friday, Student Support Services will host motivational speaker, Kelly Barnes, who like many of us, grew up in rural Eastern Oklahoma.  His purpose is "Helping people get from where they are to where they want to be".   
 
Also on Friday, the Eastern Theatre Department will begin three presentations of their Spring musical,  The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.  Shows will begin at 7:00 on Friday and Saturday evenings, and 2:00 on Sunday afternoon.  Cost is $5.00 to the public, and free to any EOSC staff, faculty or student.
 
Judy Bornheim of the Business Office will celebrate her birthday on Friday, also, so be sure and wish her a great day.
 
Lunch menus for the week include:
 
Monday:  BBQ pork rib patties, BBQ beef, chick ribs, hot rolls, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, corn, fried okra, brownies.
 
Tuesday:  Baked lemon pepper chicken, rice pilaf, pinto beans, hot rolls, seasoned potato cubes, steamed vegetables, black eyed peas, white cake.
 
Wednesday:  Baked ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, hot rolls, steamed squash, stuffing, steamed carrots, green beans, punch bowl cake.
 
Thursday;  Oven fried chicken, fried potato wedges, hot rolls, steamed spinach, macaroni and tomatoes, corn nuggets, vegetable blend, strawberry cake.
 
Friday:  Baked fish with shrimp and hush puppies, pinto beans, curly loops, corn bread, green beans, chocolate delight.
 
Dinner menus include:
 
Monday:  Salisbury steak or chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed vegetable blend, hot rolls, steamed broccoli, corn on the cob, buttered noodles.
 
Tuesday:  Spaghetti with meat or plain sauce or meatball subs with chips, garlic bread, Brussels sprouts, steamed vegetable blend, carrots.
 
Wednesday:  Loaded tamales or grilled chicken sandwich, nachos, refried beans, guacamole, Spanish rice, green chili cheese corn.
 
Thursday:  Breakfast for dinner:  Eggs, bacon or sausage, waffle sticks, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, fried potatoes, cereal.
 
Friday:  Hamburgers or cheeseburgers, fries, macaroni and cheese, pork and beans.
