Hi folks,
 
I hope everyone made it through the extremely HOT weekend alright.  I know I was looking for a cool spot every chance I got.  This has certainly been a year of "too much" so far.  Too much snow, too much rain, and now too much heat already.  I know just a couple of weeks ago, we were begging for the rain to stop, but after it shot up into the 90s right after the rain shut off, I'm kind of glad to be seeing some cloud cover again today.  We're never totally happy, are we?  All we want is for it to be just right.
 
Our second week of Gear Up camps starts today, so we will be serving in the Cafeteria today and tomorrow, then Wednesday, we'll have the Cyber Café open, then it'll be back to the Cafeteria on Thursday and Friday.  
 
The only campus birthday I know of this week is on Saturday June 13, and belongs to a very special lady I've known more years than either of us cares to admit to, NASNTI Grant Director, Cindy Shero.  I hope she has a birthday that's as sweet as she is.   
 
Lunch menu for Mon. June 8 include:
 
Oven fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, biscuits, BBQ beans, rice pilaf, steamed broccoli and cheese, chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting.
 
Dinner menu:
 
Salisbury steak with brown gravy, roasted red potatoes, corn, steamed spinach, black eyed peas, hot rolls, ice cream.
