Students:

End of semester satisfactory academic progress emails and letters have been
sent from the Financial Aid Office. Letters were sent for all students, so
you may get an email and a letter that your SAP status is satisfactory.
You need do nothing at this time.

There were also warning and suspension emails and letters sent. If there
is some confusion as to why you received a letter, please be aware that you
can review the entire Satisfactory Academic Progress policy online at the
link listed below.

Financial aid progress is based on *cumulative* hours and grade point
averages. This means that although you may have done very well this
semester, hours and grades from the past may still cause your financial aid
status to be placed on warning or even suspension. The original email you
received had a link to the Suspension Appeal Form. If your financial aid
has been suspended and you plan to return to Eastern, you should submit an
appeal as soon as possible. Remember to also submit supporting
documentation according to your specific situation.
