[Eoscstudents] 90th Annual Candlelighting Concert

Dear Eastern community:

Eastern’s Music Department is excited to announce the 90th Annual
Candlelighting concert on Sunday, December 4 at 4:00 p.m. in Mitchell
Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.



Candlelighting is one of the oldest traditions at Eastern, giving members
of Eastern and the community an opportunity to come together and celebrate
the Christmas season. The Concert Choir, Concert Band, and the Eastern
Expressions will perform, culminating with the traditional lighting of
candles.


The Concert Band will present a selection of original arrangements,
including a haunting rendition of “Carol of the Bells.” The Concert Choir
will perform several contemporary arrangements including “Breath of Heaven
(Mary’s Song)” and “Let There Be Peace on Earth.” The Eastern Expressions
will perform the hits “Feliz Navidad,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little
Christmas,” “The Christmas Song,” and others.
