[Eoscstudents] Solar Eclipse Viewing Monday, Aug. 21

Join Eastern’s Science faculty for a Solar Eclipse viewing party on Monday,
Aug. 21 at 12:45 p.m. near the Clock Tower in Wilburton. This will be the
first total solar eclipse visible in the continental United States in 38
years.


A limited number of safety glasses will be provided, as well as edible
pinhole viewers. Dr. Nealon will provide a live telescope viewing on
monitors near the Clock Tower and on the digital monitors around campus.


Local timing of the eclipse:


Begin: 11:41 a.m.

Maximum: 1:10 p.m.

End: 2:39 p.m.
