September 9, 2017 is "National Planting Day." Pride in McAlester is seeking
volunteers to help plant more than 50 Redbud trees. All supplies are
provided. If you would like to participate, be at McAlester Regional Health
Center at the corner of Strong Blvd. and Monroe Ave. at 9:00am on September
9th. A flier is attached.

Here are some reasons to volunteer:
1. Volunteers live longer and are healthier.
2. Volunteering establishes strong relationships.
3. Volunteering is good for your career.
4. Volunteering is good for society.
5. Volunteering gives you a sense of purpose.
