[Eoscstudents] Student Support Services Participants ONLY: Grant Aid

This message is for participants in Student Support Services (SSS). If you are not in SSS, please disregard.

 

Sign up for Grant Aid will begin on March 1.  If you have been a participant in Student Support Services for more than one semester (at least since fall 2016), are receiving a Pell grant, and did not receive the scholarship in fall 2016, you may be eligible to apply for it this semester.

In addition to above, you must complete both the Financial Literacy and College Success workshops (all modules) on SSS' Blackboard course page (or completed them last semester, check My Participation Credits on our course page), and have at least one other contact with us before the last day to sign up on March 10 to be eligible.

If you have not enrolled in the SSS course on Blackboard, you cannot do the workshops!  So come by and see me in Johnston 118, or shoot me an email at khowe at eosc.edu and I will give you the instructions once I verify that you are in the program.  Verification in most cases only take about 2 minutes or less.

The minimum scholarship award this semester will be $588 and we have about 8 scholarships to give.
