Dear Students and Student Advisors,

This fall, I am offering the course Biol 2292 Insects and Human Health.
This is a 2-credit course, perfect if you just need a couple of hours for a
full-time course load. While any student will learn useful information
about the creepy-crawlies that share our world, students who are going into
health fields might find the course particularly useful. There are no
prerequisites and no textbook (there's web links and files in Blackboard).

Disclaimer: this course does not meet the natural science requirement for
an associates degree, nor is it in the selection of courses that the Life
Science major needs to take. My background is in both nursing and
entomology, and this course is a nice melding of those interests with a
hope that you might find them interesting as well!

Please let me know if you have any questions, and I'll "see" you in the
fall! Thank you,
--Pat Ratliff--
