Good afternoon students,

 

 

Students who believe they will be receiving the Oklahoma's Promise scholarship should be aware of changes that will affect Fall 2018 awards.

 

Beginning with the Fall 2018 semester, students must have a complete FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) on file before any Oklahoma's Promise funds can be awarded.  If you have not applied for financial aid and completed the verification process for your FAFSA, you will need to do so before you can receive any Oklahoma's Promise scholarship funds.

 

As well, no remedial (zero level) classes will be covered by Oklahoma's Promise.  

 

The Oklahoma's Promise website is currently undergoing maintenance due to these changes, but you will be able to read more information about your scholarship when the site is updated at this link:   http://www.okpromise.org/

Beginning October 1, 2017 you can complete your 2018-2019 FAFSA. 

Be sure to use your/your parents already completed 2016 Federal Taxes. 

Log onto  <http://www.fafsa.gov/> WWW.FAFSA.GOV to complete your 18-19 FAFSA now.
